About Me

I am a Communications student at Marist College, with a dual concentration in Journalism and Sports Communication and a double minor in English Literature and Global Studies. I have a passion for writing about sports, politics, and arts and entertainment.

This past semester, I served as an Editorial Intern for Hudson Valley Magazine, a Public Relations Intern for Staatsburgh State Historic Site, and an intern/staff writer for Diversity Works Magazine. I previously served as both the Opinion Editor and Co-News Editor of the campus newspaper The Circle, the Public Relations Chair for the Marist chapter of Habitat for Humanity, and the Treasurer for the Marist Society of Professional Journalists.

I have begun working for the Marist Admissions Office as a Student Journalist, writing two articles a week, conducting interviews with both students and faculty. The aim of these articles is to attract potential students into choosing Marist.

For the Spring 2016 semester, I will be studying abroad in Florence, Italy, taking classes related to literature, writing, and culture. I plan on traveling across Europe and writing about my experiences. I will be serving as an intern for Travel with Interesting People (TWIP), writing thought-provoking pieces about my travels and the cultures that I encounter.

When I’m not busy with my numerous internships and jobs, you can find me with my nose in a book, eating chocolate, and binge-watching Sons of Anarchy on Netflix.

Ultimately, I am hoping to find a career in news writing or editing for either a newspaper or magazine, online or print. I hope you enjoy browsing through my online portfolio!
