After it was announced that Gilmore Girls is going to be revived for a limited series, I started wondering about other shows that I have watched and loved over the years that I would love to see back on the air. Here is a list of the top five shows that need a reunion:
After 10 long years, fans deserve a reunion with their six beloved New Yorkers. How many times have Ross and Rachel broken up over the past 10 years? Did “Smelly Cat” make it to the Billboard Top 100? Does the gang still meet at the same couch at Central Perk? Did Ross and Rachel ever agree over whether or not they were really on a break? So many questions that need to be answered!
I don’t know about the rest of you, but the final episode of this show, and final season in general, tore my heart into a million pieces. How many of these deaths would actually stick if the network decided to bring this show back? What happened to Angel, Gunn, Spike and Illyria after that dramatic final scene when a battle was about to begin? Will Buffy and Angel ever end up together?
When we left off, the Halliwell sisters were able to defeat the Triad and go on living normal lives. How are the Charmed ones doing since then? Have their children inherited their roles as the fighters against evil? Will there be a new Source of All Evil?
- That 70’s Show
Personally, I want to know what became of my favorite group of stoners. With Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis now married in real life, would the writers put Kelso and Jackie back together, or have her reunite with Hyde, or stick with it with Fez? How are Donna and Eric doing? Is Red Foreman still threatening to stick his foot up the crew’s asses? At the very least, I think fans deserve one more scene in the circle in the basement for old time’s sake.
- Friday Night Lights
Clear eyes, full hearts, can’t lose. Fans of this beloved show need to know what became of Eric Taylor and his new football team. Were they ever as successful as the Dillon Panthers? How are Tim Riggins, Jason Street and Matt Saracen? Did Matt and Julie ever tie the knot?
